The Arc of the Shoals strives to improve the quality of life for persons with developmental disabilities and their families. We provide advocacy services for people of all ages and programs for adults who live in Colbert and Lauderdale Counties.

All program goals and objectives promote the general welfare of persons with developmental disabilities. Focus is placed on integration into the community in an effort to enhance social skills.

The Arc of the Shoals’ adult training center, work center, supported employment program, residential services, and recreational programs increase and improve the health, safety, independence and economic self-sufficiency of individuals with developmental disabilities.
